TIME TRAVEL ODYSSEY

Many years ago I tried my hand at writing a James Bond-Tom Clancy type of thriller. (Ian Flemming, I am not! But, alas! I tried) Anyhow, while researching possible exotic weapons for use by a hypothetical international terrorist group, I came across the idea of building a U-238 bomb. I needed to be making something like this to have the necessary equipment around for an important scene I was plotting, so I gleefully recorded every minute detail that a physics professor gave me regarding the production of such a bomb. Then, when he had finished, he literally dropped a bomb on me! He said, "Now remember, the critical mass required for this bomb to react would be so great that you could never drop it out of any known airplane! (Or rocket, helicopter, etc.)” He suggested I find some way to cart it to wherever it was to be used by some equally exotic rail system. Ah, well, I had written myself into a corner, so to speak. Up until then, I had never considered the possibility that something smaller could do the trick! And I wouldn't have all the impossible parameters to deal with! That lesson recently came back to haunt me when I began writing about the Gibbs time-travel device!

For a radio interview on my first time-travel book, I was prepared to present scientific background to the field of time-travel, and to answer any scientific/mathematical inquires with precision and accuracy.

I made notes about such things as black holes, singularities, relativity, etc. Then I read into some 'how-to' scenarios that top scientists had suggested might allow for time-travel at some future date. But like my U-238 bomb, these time-travel machines were impossibly huge! For example, there was a rotating cylinder proposed by American astronomer Frank Tipler. His recipe for a time machine was to take a piece of material ten times the mass of the sun, squeeze it together and roll it into a long, thin super-dense cylinder-like a black hole which had passed through a pasta machine! Then speed the cylinder several billion revolutions per minute and see what happens! If the cylinder is of an infinite length and you can stay near the center, you might survive such a trip!

Just in case that sounds a bit farfetched (or far-flung) for you, there is a variation on this called 'the cosmic strings.' Now remember, the gravitational pull of a black hole is so enormous that it distorts the very fabric of time-space into what is called a SINGULARITY. This is a point at which to laws of physics break down. When singularities were found to spin, it was proven that closed time like curves occurred. The singularity would form a doughnut shape in time-space, while the middle is a perilous gateway to somewhere-or when! A cosmic string would be a two-dimensional singularity. If you can maneuver this near a black hole, it is theoretically possible to create a wide variety of closed time like curves! But we're talking long-distance here, my friends-BIG TIME! Any of these would require construction of interplanetary proportions! We shouldn’t hold our breath not when we can't even figure out how the pyramids were built! Little wonder that scientists say time-travel is 'theoretically possible' and let the matter go at that! So after all of this, I was faced with a dilemma. If, in scientific thought, you needed a huge piece of equipment to facilitate time travel, how could I convince intellectually thoughtful folks that the suitcase-sized device designed and built by Steve Gibbs could work just as well and a while lot sooner! Then, quite accidentally, I found a plausible answer.

In his controversial book NOTHING IN THIS BOOK IS TRUE BUT IT'S EXACTLY THE WAY THINGS ARE, Bob Frisell made this astute observation:

" We become weaker when we keep giving away our power to technology, in other words, to external objects. We then become dependent on these objects and soon get to the point where we can’t do anything for ourselves. We also become habituated to obeying outside authority. Instead of doing this, the guiding principle of the new consciousness is to operate from our own authority. This means following the Spirit within without hesitation.”

He then asks us to stretch our imagination and continues: “The most advanced civilizations in the galaxy, have nothing and own nothing outside of themselves. They can do anything they want, and they can do it without external objects.”

Frisell believes that our next leap in consciousness will be the mastery of divine expression. We will know that we have everything we need inside of us. If this is true, we won’t need a Tipler cylinder, a cosmic string, or even a Hyper-dimensional resonator to travel through time!

Central to the idea of us having our own “internal merkaba” is the idea that things exist in thought form aside from devices that make them visible to us. All people who have studied metaphysical principles will tell you that thoughts are powerful things. When items, ideas and events 'materialize' into this dimension, it is because we have first thought about them.

To give you an idea of how this would apply to the Gibbs time machine, I'm going to introduce you to Carl Smythe. He is a well-educated professional man who has done a lot of traveling with the Gibbs time machine. Carl told Steve that through the use of photography he had discovered 'ghost cords' on the HDR units that will let them work even when they are unplugged!

The ghost cords are an aspect of time itself, Steve explained. The unit links spiritually with other units in the past or present. If unplugged, the unit's link up to the time period in which they were last plugged in. According to Red, Elk, an Indian Shaman, things are manifesting now from other dimensions. He is not alone in this evaluation. UFO contactee Alex Collier was told several years ago that around this time in history the walls between the living and dead would begin to disintegrate. He was even told that a 12th level of reality was beginning to form and that the third dimension in which we live would be imploding upon itself!

Near-death experiencer Dannion Brinkley was shown several ways for the living to make contact with the dead and was told that his mission in life involved doing just that! Several years afterward a little man who could have been an Angel, Devil, or God himself, visited author Whitley Streiber! He told Whitley he should try and contact the dead! We can only conclude from all of this something we do not understand is unfolding and the ‘veil’ is lifting.

Getting back to our old friend Carl Smythe and his ghost cords, Steve Gibbs explained that according to the laws of quantum physics, everything has memory. Red Elk said the same thing and this idea is also implied in nannotechnology! I

Smythe told Steve that he had been given an HDR unit by Steve's 'other self’ who had come to visit him from another universe! The unit was similar to the one Steve manufactures, but instead of black dials, it uses silver ones. It has round lamps instead of square ones and its rubbing plate is also smaller.

While a parallel universe cannot duplicate Steve's units, Smythe's HDR unit (which came from one) PROVES that technology is independent of actual devices. Similar devices are supplied in different ways in different universes, " and even in different time frames! For example, most of us Trekkies remember the episode where Kirk and Spock were stuck in 1930 Chicago. Spock had to use crude radio tubes and wires to build a device with which to contact the ENTERPRISE.

In February of 2002, Steve sold one of his HDR units to Carl Smyth who currently lives in the Southeast. On the same day that Steve's unit arrives by UPS, Carl heard a knocking on the door, and when he opened it, he noticed it was his 'other self’ holding a package. The other self told Carl he had come from the future and asked him how his health had been. When Carl insisted he was fine, the other self said he couldn't stay long and had to be going, and then he handed Carl the package. After he left, Carl opened the package and noticed that it was another HDR unit fully assembled and ready to use. To this day, Carl does not understand why his other self from the future would give him a second HDR unit.

After Carl had located a vortex, he decided to activate the HDR unit over it on a day of the full moon right at sunrise. His goal was to travel (6) months into the future and return safely after staying there for the space of (7) hours. When he activated the unit for the space of (3) minutes nothing happened. Being somewhat discouraged he packed up the unit and put it away. About an hour after he had conducted the experiment and while he was on a train, he decided to look at his watch. It registered 1:00 pm in the afternoon. When he looked at it again a couple of minutes later, it jumped from 1:02 pm to 2:02 pm. He was astonished! He had traveled 1 hour into the future. However he couldn't figure out why it took so long before the time warp kicked in. Then Steve told him in a phone conversation that he did not stay on the vortex long enough in order for the time energies to take effect. If he had waited an additional 8 to 10 minutes after the unit had been de-activated, he would have found himself (6) months ahead in time.

In his 2nd attempt to travel physically through time, Carl decided to set the dials on the HDR unit for January 1st, 2000. But the unit would not activate even after the power switch was turned on. Then something happened which totally scared him. All of a sudden the unit started to levitate and then it came crashing to the floor. After this initial shock he activated the unit for the 2nd time, and sure enough it kicked in, and in less than 3 minutes he found himself back in the year 2000 on January 1st. All of a sudden he heard his parents knocking at the door yelling, “Please let us in!” But the lord told him not to answer the door because they could be ET's. All of a sudden he started to panic, and in less than 10 minutes he heard a click and he was back to the present. He told Steve the strange thing about this experiment was, that when he was there the interior of the house remained in present time, but when he looked outside his house through the picture window everything looked like it did over 2 years ago! Steve then told him that he was in some form of a time bubble, and if he had answered the door, he would have found himself back in the year 2000 on January 1st.

Part 2

In another one of Carl’s adventures, he managed to locate a vortex or grid point, which sent him physically into the future. When Steve asked Carl where he went, he told Steve he went to the years 2005, 2006 and 2007. But then he revealed that the HDR unit (in reference to time travel in the future) has a five-year time limit. In other words, you can’t travel beyond the year of 2007. When he told Steve this, Steve began to wonder if there was some sort of barrier, which keeps people from going beyond this point. (Remote viewers and other time travelers have claimed a similar barrier exists in 2012).

Steve asked Carl what he saw in the future. Carl said that in the year 2005 Colin Powell was elected President of the United Stats, and that somehow, someway, President Bush was forced out of office. After that, Vice President Cheney took office, but since he had poor health, he died of a heart attack. Then Colin Powell, who had been elevated to vice President, became President of the United States.

One time Carl told Steve something, which struck him as funny. He said, “Did you know Steve, that your doubles from other time lines have been contacting me?”

Steve didn’t believe it, but Carl insisted it was true. “As a matter of fact a couple of your doubles told me that Art Bell, who works for the Radio program called ‘Coast to Coast,’ is called Howard Baker in the universe they come from. Also, the Radio program called ‘Coast to Coast,’ is called the “Psychic Hour” there.

“But they told me what they really thought was funny, was the fact that when Howard Baker interviewed the other Steven Gibbs, that the Steven Gibbs in that time line proved to Howard Baker that the HDR Units actually work. As a matter of face, he proved it to such a degree that Howard Baker and two of his friends decided to test out the unit while they were broadcasting nation-wide. But as soon as they activated it, they disappeared without a trace!”

“They said the impact of this event was so dramatic that President Dole, (Bob Dole was President of the United States then) had to pass a law that stated that no one under the age of 18 was allowed to buy a time machine, unless supervised by an adult.”

When Carl told Steve this story, it seemed so funny that they nearly died laughing!

Extensive Time Travel Accounts

Carl Smythe is the most recent case of someone doing extensive time-travel and returning to report on his experiences. There are other very remarkable cases, as reported in my two previous books. But one that took place in Hawaii was quite dramatic and bears some extra consideration.

Huang Ho was a Hawaiian of Chinese decent who first contacted Steve in the late 1990’s. At first Ho was mainly interested in the time-travel capabilities of Steve's HDR unit. He and some of his 'work associates' ordered a unit and then offered Steve to help build them! They were, Ho explained, 'electronics technicians’ with a great deal of manufacturing experience who wanted a little extra work on the side to supplement their incomes. Since Steve was swamped with a huge number of back orders for the HDR’s, he agreed to let the Hawaiians build some of the parts for his units.

At first, things seemed to be going along fine, but it was taking the Hawaiians a lot of time to get their work done and their workmanship, while adequate, lacked certain 'finishing touches’ that Steve felt were essential to the operational efficiency of his machines. He suggested that they take their HDR unit, take it apart and study it before continuing on with their venture. They agreed and then a very long time went by without Steve hearing from them. He finally called the older member of their group to ask what was going on and if they still wanted to try and prepare parts for him. When the man answered the phone, he was at first very hesitant to talk with Steve, then he finally revealed that Huang Ho had taken the HDR unit and activated it over a strong grid/vortex on one of the more remote islands and boom! He had disappeared right in front of their eyes!

During the call, Steve got the impression that the Hawaiians were 'scared to death’ and were worried that they, themselves, would be affected by the unit! (Steve had said that sometimes after activating the unit, it was best to lie down and wait for the forces to kick in.) Although Steve tried on several occasions to re-contact the group, they were never heard from again! Perhaps if a grid/vortex is strong enough, it can take in people from nearby areas as well as the initial experiencer!

MORE CONCRETE PROOF

When discussing this third and last book with Steve Gibbs, I implored him to give me as much physical proof as possible! He sent me pictures that Carl Smythe had sent him of the HDR model from an alternate universe, and he sent a picture that Carl Smythe had managed to take of the so-called “ghost” cords! He also sent me a copy of an 1899 silver certificate and told me about a RADIO SHACK in an alternate dimension that sold 1200 UF 6.3 volt capacitors. In our present dimension, these are not sold as separate units, but are made from combining other parts!

According to Steve, when Carl Smythe was constructing something with these unusual capacitors, he left his workshop for a few moments and returned to find they had vanished into thin air! Steve concluded that the higher spiritual powers did not want Carl experimenting with something that could have negative consequences!

Now if the ghost cords could exist outside of dimensionality as an idea or device, then perhaps that means that there is some truth to the notion of vertical time - the idea to everything is somehow happening all at once OR is a shift in attention all we need to access the past or future?

According to Michael Talbot's HOLOGRAPHIC UNIVERSE, “consciousness also has its source in the implicate. The means that the human mind and the holographic record of the past already exist in the same domain."

African witch doctors have an interesting way of approaching this subject. They believe that everything we are extends outward into our surroundings and that everything in our surroundings reaches out to touch us! That is about as holistic as you can get! This is why, instead of simply taking a pill or an herb, the witch doctors often have a ritual or dance that extends to the surroundings. Just in case you think this sounds a bit crazy, consider the fact that someone has been affected by something like poison ivy. Calamine lotion might help the rash, yes, but instructing the child not to play in the woods and instructing the woods not to lure the child will bring home to point of not playing in the woods and staying closer to home until one is more familiar with all the surroundings. So, is this crazy? I don't think so! People once laughed about those who wore garlic around their necks! But those with the garlic often did not attract the greatest amount of human contact, so they also avoided human contamination! The more advanced we become, the more we return to the wisdom of simplicity!

So, then, if reality exists in other dimensions and on other levels, is it so hard to believe there are those who have found ways to access these realities? Michael Talbot criticizes the scientists of today for being too objective and not enough experimental. It is only when we try to tap into something for ourselves we can truly understand basic principles.

Many years ago when I was in graduate school, we communications students read a great deal of Marshal McLuhan and his mentor, Dr. lnnis. They said, among other things, that the act of teaching was the best way of learning! Does that sound backwards? Yes, and I will not go into all the intellectual logic behind this idea, but I will tell you it worked! I had a couple of friends who were in science areas and not verbally inclined, so I would help them prepare for literary or writing courses. The more I tried to explain things to them, the more I understood those things myself! By seeing what I needed to explain, I was finding a way to facilitate their comprehension. And in doing so, I enhanced my own! Truth does not always follow logic.

And then there is another dimension of knowledge: the thing that is proven true totally aside from any logical sequence or retro-logic! Case in point: Bode's Law. An astronomer eye told me that no one had ever proven WHY it worked. All they knew was that it DID work!

Perhaps the Gibbs time machine is something like that, it works, but through no rhyme or reason? Who knows? One thing is certain: we cannot remain locked within the parameters of our current scientific thinking. One by one, facts are creeping out that demand we revise our thinking!

If the wearing on the Sphinx is by water, then it is indeed older than 5,000 years! If human footprints and dinosaur footprints are found in the same archeological layers, then man DID, indeed, walk with the dinosaurs! (Most probably in the opposite direction!) And if the Mayan pyramids could predict our major sun flare cycles, then they most certainly had an advanced system of astronomy and mathematics!

We are on the verge of a great expansion of consciousness. Every major psychic sees it coming; the signs are all around! Time is not what we think it is! And it is not WHERE we think it is. Perhaps, by using the Gibbs time machine we will finally learn the secret of time itself!
